CDA COURSE LIST:
Included with your CDA membership is unlimited systems training and professional development courses.
CDA systems training consists of a minimum of three sessions:
1. Systems Orientation Training:
This session is designed to provide you with an overview of your CDA data management system. A systems audit will be performed to ensure that all relevant data has been captured and organized to your expectations.
2. Level I Intermediate Systems Training:
Understand the basics of data-informed decision making. You will learn how to access and interpret visual representations of your data through descriptive statistical analyses. You will also learn how to access and use standardized reports for compliance monitoring and reporting.
3. Level II Advanced Systems Training:
Understand how to really evaluate your educational programs. Leverage CDA's query-based reporting feature to create customized data reports. You will also learn the basics of using CDA's embedded statistical analysis tool: STATCrunch to help you make inferences about your student populations.
DLA COURSE LIST:
Also included, at no extra charge, are quarterly DLA professional development sessions.
These sessions are designed to provide district personnel with additional information on:
1. Current Events:
CDA support specialists from Allegheny IU3, and Capital Area IU15 can bring you the most up-to-date information straight from the PA Department of Education.
2. Expert Information:
We also seek out subject-matter experts to present on the topics in which you are most interested to complement your knowledge and enrich your learning experience.
3. Open Discussions & Networking:
Build collaborative relationships with other educators by attending our open discussion & networking opportunities.
